Hotel Plus partners with Asia Hotel Forum and Tripvivid to revive hospitality industry
Hotel Plus has announced its partnership with The Centre of Asia Hotel Forum (AHF), a leading hotel event organizer, and Tripvivid, China’s new media platform dedicated to cultural tourism, on onsite activities at Shanghai International Hospitality Design & Supplies Expo (Hotel Plus – HDE) to be held on 12, 13 and 14 August 2020 at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), organized by Sinoexpo Informa Markets.
Working together with the partners, Hotel Plus 2020 will provide more resources and market information to the hotel and design community through co-organized conferences and awards ceremony, gathering industry professionals under one roof to discuss new insight of industry development and explore new business opportunities in this difficult time.
2020 Asia Hotel and Travel Forum Annual Meeting
The Centre of AHF will bring one of its iconic events – 2020 Asia Hotel and Travel Forum Annual Meeting – to the show floor of Hotel Plus 2020. Held successfully for 14 consecutive years since 2005, AHF Annual Meeting returns under a fresh tagline “Innovation Shapes the Future”. Over the 2-day course, it will invite the leaders of hospitality and tourism industry to share insightful view-points in panels and speeches. Discussion about key issues including Hotel-Tourism Development, Design & Technology and Operation Management will be the highlights of the event. Real estate developers, investors, brand owners, architects, interior designers, project suppliers, industry experts and scholars comprise the majority of delegates to attend 2020 AHF Annual Meeting.
The 15th China Hotel Starlight Awards
Another event of The Centre of AHF – The 15th China Hotel Starlight Awards – will also be held amid Hotel Plus 2020. Hailed as the “Oscar” in China’s hotel industry, Starlight Awards not only aims at celebrating various achievements of the industry, but also records hotels and hoteliers who have made significant contributions in the past year. All award-winners are decided by the consensus of a group of shrewd and seasoned hotel experts, appraisals of the Advisory Committee of AHF, recommendations and nominations from members of the industry and online voting.
Hotel Plus helps companies in the field of cultural tourism to survive in the downturn
Cultural tourism has been affected in the first half of this year by Covid-19 epidemic, in this circumstance, Hotel Plus 2020 and Tripvivid will join forces to accelerate the industry recovery from the current situation. Focusing on such topics as “the development path of cultural tourism industry in a post-epidemic world” and “innovation and operation of cultural tourism products”, it will invite the key players from hotel groups, cultural travel companies, B&Bs, OTAs, outdoor adventure companies and educational tour companies, to build up a communication platform that presents market trends and connects the industry.
Besides these activities, Hotel Plus 2020 hand-in-hand with China Commerce Association for General Merchandise will unveil China Mall Show, a sub-show dedicated to commercial property industry allocated at 8.1 Exhibition Hall. During the show period, Shanghai International Shopping Mall Development Forum will be held aiming at exchanging new ideas about future development of commercial properties including shopping malls and department stores, in terms of business operations, commercial design and innovative technologies.
As exhibition industry is back to normal in Shanghai, the event organizer will take a set of preventive anti-epidemic measures to ensure the safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff. Based on the regular disinfection and sterilization of exhibition halls, all those present will be required to wear face masks, show “Suishen Code”, take temperature and security checks when entering the venue.
